My husband Tony and I run our family business which we started in 2012.
We are passionate about delivering a professional Pet Service to South Oxfordshire. We have both had professional backgrounds in the past and we understand the importance of ‘reliability’ it is key to running our business. All our furry, feathered or scaly clients receive a service which is second to none and of course so do the owners!
I have been around horses and dogs all my life, owning quite a few of both along the way! My interest in Gun Dogs / Training came about 10 years ago when I re-homed a head strong Rytex Springer Spaniel (Poppy) from Ireland. I was helped by Alex Thorneycroft-Taylor a renowned Gun Dog Trainer and so Poppy and I became hooked and equally we were both trained at the same time!
What I have learnt I can now pass on which gives me great pleasure helping clients with their dogs whether it be Gun dog training or just family pets that need some fine tuning on re-call and heel work.

Tony joined SOPS in 2014 but really he has been on board from the beginning helping me! Tony has also been around horses and dogs most of his life and rode and competed for Royal Air Force Benson back in the 90’s.
He has a real love for Spaniels and likes nothing better than spending a day out with the family dogs, he also works his Sprocker Sprite, the pocket Rocket we call him!
Gill Smith has been my friend for 30 years, we don’t like to say ‘old friends’ but we are! She joined SOPS back in 2013 helping me at the beginning with my fledgling business. Having spent many years being around all sorts of animals but mainly horses working professionally with them for 10 years, she has a brilliant understanding of both horses and dogs. Gill has had Greyhounds for many years and has a full understanding of Sight Hounds.
She is also as most people know a superb photographer and has been for years, she tells me regularly that she has the best two jobs in the world!
Gill now cover’s the West Oxfordshire area, so villages surrounding Witney, please click here for more information on Gill’s West Oxfordshire Dog Walking / Home Boarding etc.
Tony, Gill, Sharon and myself are all Dog First Aid trained!
Sharon Daly has also been my friend for 30 years, there’s a theme going on here! Sharon joined SOPS in 2017 and has become my other wingman! Sharon’s love of animals led her onto to completing an equine studies course at Warwickshire agricultural collage after leaving school. She gained her Assistant Instructors (AI) accreditation and worked as an AI teaching students to ride, this is where we met and how Sharon met Gill too!
Sharon then went onto to having a successful career within banking, then in 2017 we were delighted that she joined SOPS.
Sharon is currently embarking on some new exciting dog training courses, watch this space!
Tony Pink, is my dad! Now retired from the family business I am lucky enough for him to help me; he enjoys being out walking with the dogs and has learnt a great amount over the past years from being a rookie recruit to an experienced dog walker!
