Many people worry about putting their dogs in kennels as some dogs find the experience extremely stressful, Home Boarding is a popular alternative!
Your dog will live in our homes with our dogs, as part of our families. We can cater for any size dog and specialise in Home Boarding for Gun Dogs (Amanda and Tony) and Sight Hounds (Gill). We will endeavour to maintain your dogs routines as much as possible so they feel happy and contented.
Prior to boarding with us we arrange a free “Meet & Greet” for our dogs to meet yours, these visits are at no charge. It is important to establish that your dog and our family homes are the correct place for she or him to stay.
South Oxon Pet Services (SOPS) Home Boarding aim to give you peace of mind that your dog will have a great time, as will you, whilst away! Dogs are walked twice daily and any of your usual routine can be fulfilled if you require. Knowing that your dog is holidaying as well with a structured happy routine will make your holiday stress free not worrying about your pet.
What do I bring?
Not too much just his or hers clean bed, their usual food, a collar with ID on it. All dogs that board with us must be up to date with their vaccinations including Kennel Cough, wormed and treated with a branded flea treatment like Frontline before they can board.
A daily photo blog will be posted on Facebook so you can keep an eye on your dog’s holiday whilst you're enjoying yours! Please contact me to discuss your requirements.
Please note that both Amanda and Gill are unable to home board entire males.
Places are limited so we recommend that you book early to avoid disappointment.

Each dog has its own, room with home from home comforts
Procedure and Policy documents in place
Compliance to fire safety regulations
Contracts including consents

A new star system is also being used for the first time this year, with 5 stars being the highest awarded and a risk
evaluation with both our businesses being noted as low risk and 5 stars!

Dog Daycare consists of us looking after your dog whilst you are at work or out for the day. If not delivered we will collect your dog from your home and take them on the first of 2 walks that day, keeping them stimulated and happy in a safe environment with plenty of company and exercise so that they return to you tired and contented and ready to settle down for the evening...
We specialise in socialising dogs and maintain a calm, friendly, structured and relaxed atmosphere at all times. We recommend that dogs attend a minimum of two sessions a week to ensure that we get to know them and that your dog is happy and relaxed when it is away from you and is familiar with different surroundings.
